Carolling in the Churchyard

Sunday, Dec. 10, 4-5pm

With a tune in our hearts and a songbook in our hands, we'll have a campfire, some warm drinks, all the fixins to make some s'mores, and songbooks for us to sing all the songs of the season.

In the midst of a busy season, this afternoon will remind us of the joy and peace that is really at the heart of the Christmas season. Fa la la la la, la la la la!

Quiet Christmas

Tuesday, Dec. 12, 7:30pm

Not everyone experiences the Christmas season the same way; for some of us it's a time of joy, but others experience longing or grief. Some of us have experienced loss in the past year; we tend to old wounds, or struggle to find peace in the midst of a broken world.

If you're grieving or struggling this Christmas, or just need to hear how God holds and sustains you at all times in your life with the love of Christ, you are welcome to this service.

Come for a quiet evening of hope and peace, and prayer, in the midst of a season that points us to God's ongoing healing work in our lives, mending us, and making us whole.

A Marion Singers Christmas

Saturday, Dec. 16, 3pm

The Marion Singers of Greater Toronto, under the direction of Christopher Dawes, present a program of traditional and modern Christmas music, from Bach to Billy Joel. The Marion Singers are a Toronto-area a cappella group of choristers who sing just for the love of it. Their concerts are fundraisers for everywhere they sing, with all the ticket revenue coming back into the community.

Proceeds from this concert will support our Community Lunch program, part of our shared ministry with the Beaches Interfaith Outreach Committee (BIOC).

Tickets are $25 available online through Zeffy, a ticketing platform for not-for-profits that directs all revenue to us instead of deducting a service fee. This means 100% of the ticket price goes directly to the Community Lunch!

We'll also be selling tickets on Sundays at the church leading up to Dec. 16, and at the door.
