Our journey to the cross begins as we join the crowds entering the holy gates of Jerusalem, waving our palm branches and shouting our Hosannas to Christ.
Follow in the footsteps of Jesus as we walk the Way of the Cross in this quiet meditative service of readings, prayer and reflection.
Hours before his arrest, meet Jesus as he offers himself in lowly service and highest glory, washing our feet and giving us the holy meal that unites us to him. This service ends with the dramatic stripping of the altar as Jesus is betrayed and led away.
We'll gather with our friends at St. Saviour's, located at 43 Kimberley Ave. (near Main and Gerrard).
On this most solemn fast day of the church year, we remember Jesus’ crucifixion and death on the cross with prayer and scripture. Come, meditate on the cross through which Jesus won for us victory over death.
This is the night: tonight, we hear the story of God’s work of salvation for all people that has been unfolding from the beginning of time. What starts in darkness, lit only by the glow of a simple fire, ends with the brightness and glory of God’s eternal light in our new life. Followed by a Resurrection Party!
Celebrate the resurrection of Christ and look into the empty tomb where we find life in its fullness. In this joyful service of hymns and praise, we proclaim our faith: Jesus Christ is risen!
