Come to St. Nicholas and find a warm welcome, a supportive community
and the peace and serenity of faith

WELCOME!

We warmly welcome those who visit St. Nicholas. The website will give some sense of what goes on in the parish, where we offer a warm welcome, a supportive community and the peace and serenity of faith.

You will find many events and groups offering the opportunity to meet new friends, stimulate heart and mind, explore the meaning and expression of Christian faith, and find ways to contribute to the common good in the Birch Cliff neighbourhood and throughout the world.

A friendly church St. Nicholas' is a family church and a friendly place to gather and worship - with strong roots in the local community. We have
  • Christian education for all ages [link »],
  • a music program - with the choir singing year-round [link »],
  • young people sharing in the worship and active social life of the parish [link »],
  • an annual ecumenical Lenten program, and
  • an active outreach program [link »], including community suppers and concerts.

  • Information on weddings here » and baptism here »
  • For more about the various ways Anglicans express their belief, see here »
  • Please feel free free to introduce yourself to the greeters or sidespeople at the door - they are more than willing or provide information you require or to answer any questions. Meet the clergy and join us for refreshments in Robinson Hall following the 10:30 a.m. service. (see staff page here »).

Please sign our guest book at the back of the church!

All baptized Christians, regardless of denomination, are invited to receive Communion in the Anglican Church.  If you do not wish to receive, please come to the Altar, and cross your arms over your chest to receive a blessing.

Children are welcome at St. Nicholas'! They belong here as much as anyone else. Children are invited to attend our Church School program downstairs during the 10:30am service. Children who are baptized are also welcome to receive Communion.
