"Our vision is to provide God's people with lectionary-based, ecumenical resources that empower all ages to be transformed in Christ as they:

- explore meaning and mystery in the Bible;
- celebrate in worship, sacraments, education, and service;
- engage in ministries of love, justice, and witness;
- and live in inclusive communities of faith, shaped and led by the Holy Spirit."

10:30 am - Children are welcome at St. Nicholas!

Sunday September 5 is the final day of St. Nick's Summer Church School Program. Children of all ages are welcome to head downstairs at the end of the 10:30am Children’s Talk.

Thank you too those who volunteered to teach over the summer months, and a special thanks to Angela McCullock for organizing the curriculum and the teachers once again this summer.

Our regular Church School Program (Toddler Class, Multi-Age Class and Senior Class) resumes Sunday September 12 at 10:30 am.

The 2010/2011 Church School year is almost here: for those interested in teaching our Toddler or Multi-age classes, the sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board. If you are interested in teaching but would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact Angela McCullock.

Church School is offered for younger children during the 10:30 morning service from September to Pentecost. We have been using the "Seasons of the Spirit" curriculum [website »] as a guide for our school program.

The Seasons of the Spirit curriculum co-ordinates the activities of the Sunday School program with the lectionary readings heard by those who are attending the adult service. The curriculum includes readings, prayer, discussion topics and arts and craft activities of interest to children.

The material for each week is available in the parish office, and any questions can be directed to Angela McCullock. Personal contact information available on Sundays or from the Parish Office: 416-691-0449 or Email
